Halle Berry already has a connection with Netflix, as the streaming service picked up her directorial debut Bruised. She's continuing to work with the company, as Collider reports that she'll star in the sci-fi film Mothership.
Bridge Of Spies' Matt Charman will write and direct the movie, taking over the script from previous writers Pablo Fenjves and Andrew Marlowe. Mothership will find Berry as a fearless woman whose husband mysteriously vanishes, but when she discovers a strange extraterrestrial object beneath her home, she and her children set out to find him and uncover the truth behind his disappearance – which may involve the CIA.
As Berry waits for Bruised to score a release slot, she'll also be seen in Roland Emmerich's latest disaster epic, Moonfall.
