Roland Emmerich is certainly gathering the names for his latest disaster movie, Moonfall. The latest person to join the cast is Halle Berry.
Just last week, we learned that Josh Gad had agreed to star in the film, which tells the story of Earth's satellite world falling out of orbit and dooming humanity, as a ragtag group tries to save us all from rocky doom.
Berry is on an astronaut-turned-NASA administrator whose previous mission holds a clue to the catastrophe, while Gad is an offbeat genius who initially figures out that the moon is falling.
Emmerich wrote the script alongside Harald Kloser and Spenser Cohen, and is hoping to have the cameras rolling in the autumn, assuming proper precautions are in place.
As for Berry, she's been editing her directorial debut, Bruised, which is awaiting a release date.
