With Amy Adams and Glenn Close already on board to star, Ron Howard is adding another name to the cast for his latest, Netflix film Hillbilly Elegy. Haley Bennett joins the ensemble in a role that has yet to be announced.

Howard's latest boasts a script from The Shape Of Water's Vanessa Taylor, which in turn adapts JD Vance's bestselling memoir. The film will follows three generations of an Appalachian family as told by its youngest member, a Yale law student forced to return to his home town.

Gabriel Basso will also appear in the film, which has yet to set to a date to appear on the streaming service. Bennett last worked on The Devil All The Time, which will also arrive via Netflix, as will The Red Sea Diving Resort, which is finally set to emerge from release limbo this year.
