Men of Britain, rejoice! It seems that Hollywood golden girl Gwyneth Paltow has had enough of the rigours of Tinseltown life and is planning a move to Europe. In an interview this week with German newspaper Berliner Zeitung Paltrow explains that her decision to spend the summer acting on stage in London has spurred the decision to leave America for a while. 'Hollywood is a completely male-dominated world. I want to leave,' Gwyneth tells the paper. 'At the moment, there is definitely a lack of interesting female roles and nothing that I would really like to undertake. 'I'm going to star in my first London theatre production this spring, but after that I'm not sure what I will do. I'd like to stay in Europe for a while, maybe in London, Berlin or Paris.' Paltrow also admits that she'd like to settle down sometime soon. 'I also think about marrying and having children, but at the moment, I don't have any concrete designs on how that should happen. It all lies in God's hands.' As to what's brought all this on, it transpires that Paltrow's best mate Madonna has also been giving her some tips on how to nab a man. 'Madonna is a good friend,' Paltrow explains and she has given me lots of advice.' Advice, perhaps, on how to land yourself a nice English lad? Ever mindful of Empire readers, and in particular our Deputy Editor's long-standing devotion at the shrine of Paltrow, we've come up with some reasons why the actress should choose London as a venue to settle down in over Paris or Berlin. 1. Your best mate Madonna married an British bloke and that seems to be going swimmingly. 2. British men are less vain than their Hollywood counterparts (they're also correspondingly more dirty, but we won't go into that). 3. We have marmite. 4. You've already got the accent down pat, so you'll fit in nicely. 5. Er that's it.
