Gwyneth Gets Married

On a day heavy with all this Middle-earth malarkey it's nice to take a break from the Jackson trilogy and give you all an entirely different piece of news. Yes that nice Chris Martin boy - you know, the one who's a singer now (very successful, apparently) - has gone and married a Hollywood star. Rumours of impending nuptials have been doing the rounds since Paltrow annouced last week that she and Martin were expecting the pitter patter of tiny feet (no, not hobbits silly) in the summer. Today County officials in Santa Barbara told The Associated Press that shortly after applying for a wedding licence last Friday a private ceremony took place. 'Documents show the marriage happened,' said an official, but that's about it.
