Carla Gugino – one of the best reasons to watch Sin City – and John Hawkes (the Deadwood regular last seen on film having a nasty meeting with a truck in Miami Vice) have both joined American Gangster.
No word on what their roles will be, but Ridley Scott’s film of the life and capture of ‘70s drug baron Frank Lucas is currently shooting, and already features Denzel Washington, Russell Crowe, Josh Brolin and Ted Levine. It’ll hit our screens next year.
