After Bringing the streets of Staines to Hollywood in Ali G Indahouse, Sacha Baron Cohen will return to cinemas in a remake of French comedy Le Diner de Cons (The Idiot Game). Given the dubious new moniker, Dinner For Schmucks, this eating-oriented farce won't feature Baron Cohen's jewellery-bedecked pseudo-gangster but rather an array of new characters developed by the comic. Like the original, Dinner For Schmucks sees a group of friends who stage a weekly dinner party, to which each invites the most cretinous person they can find. Baron Cohen's main character is to be a person of such unheard of idiocy that prolonged time in his presence can seriously damage people's health - not a million miles from his TV incarnation, then.
