Guardians Of The Galaxy writer/director James Gunn already has one of his regular acting troupe, Michael Rooker, in place as Yondu for Marvel’s space adventure. He’s now added a second old mate, with Gregg Henry hitting Twitter to announce he’s off to the UK to take a role.

What that role will be remains to be seen: the film is in the middle of production, but no official announcement has been made as to Henry's role. While there’s a chance he could be the chosen voice for Rocket Raccoon, we’re not sure that necessarily requires his presence in Blighty, as the gun-happy critter is being created via a combination of performance capture (which is already underway) and voice-over.

Guardians finds Chris Pratt as Peter Quill (AKA Star Lord), a wise-cracking human pilot who gets tangled up with a group of renegades and mercenaries who eventually bond together as a mismatched superhero team. Other cast members already hard at work include Zoe Saldana, Lee Pace, Benicio Del Toro, John C. Reilly, Glenn Close, Dave Bautista, Karen Gillan, Djimon Hounsou, Ophelia Lovibond and, assuming the deal has been worked out, Vin Diesel as the voice of plant warrior Groot.

Gunn and his gang impressed us at this year’s San Diego Comic-Con, and we’re definitely anticipating this one, even if we have to wait until August 1 next year. But while Gunn is in a mood to recruit people he's worked with several times, any chance of something for Nathan Fillion?
