There may not be any more Lemony Snicket films planned, but author Daniel Handler is still interested in getting movies made of his work.
GreeneStreet Films has optioned his romantic novel Adverbs and hired the writer to adapt it.
It follows a chain of gay and straight relationships that link several characters. According to Handler, it’s basically "a novel about love -- a bunch of different people, in and out of different kinds of love."
GreeneStreet President John Penotti was enthusiastic in his praise to The Hollywood Reporter: "It's a wonderful novel with interesting characters and interwoven story lines, which I found impossible to put down.”
There’s no word on a start date yet – and the project hasn’t yet found a director.
