Graham And Bartha Have A Hangover

Todd Phillps has added two more cast members to his next film, The Hangover, which starts filming this week in Las Vegas (bagsie the set visit!).

Justin Bartha, who was perhaps the best thing about both National Treasure movies as the sarcastic Riley, and Heather Graham have signed on to the Warner Bros./Legendary Pictures comedy, about three friends who travel to Vegas for a stag do – only to get so monumentally drunk that they lose the groom and have to retrace their steps to find him, with less than forty hours to the wedding.

So it’s essentially Dude, Where’s My Groom? But we’ve liked the idea since we first heard it, and today’s casting hasn’t changed our minds. Bartha, who will play the groom, has a nice line in snappy patter and withering putdowns and probably deserved more of a career bump from the National Treasure movies than he has so far received. As for Graham, she’s got a fine comedic touch and it’s nice to see her in a high-profile movie again. She’ll play a local resident who may know more about the groom’s whereabouts than she’s letting on.

The duo join the already-cast Bradley Cooper, Ed Helms and The Single Biggest Cause Of RSI In The World, Zach Galifianakis. Sounds good – did we already mention that we want to bagsie the set visit?

Oh, and since this is probably the last bit of casting news on this movie, this is pretty much officially the last time you'll see us use that ultra-lazy 'Insert name of actor here has a hangover' headline. Probably.
