Fox's Batman TV-spin-off Gotham has been underway for a couple of weeks now, but if you thought it was already heavy on the cameo super-villainy, there's yet more to come. Late to the party is Nicholas D'Agosto, who's just been cast as district attorney Harvey Dent{
Dent is, of course, the upright man who will become Two-Face after half his face is burned horribly by acid. He joins a roster of nascent knavery that already includes The Penguin (Robin Lord Taylor), Poison Ivy (Clare Foley), Catwoman (Carmen Bicondova), The Riddler (Cory Michael Smith), Carmine Falcone (John Doman), newcomer Fish Mooney (Jada Pinkett-Smith) and a yet-to-be-revealed Joker (although we have an out-there theory about that).
D'Agosto is best known currently as Dr Ethan Haas from Masters Of Sex. Before that he racked up nine episodes on Heroes as West Rosen in 2007, and has shown his face in the likes of House, Supernatural, Six Feet Under, ER, The Office and Without A Trace. At the movies you might have caught him in Election or Final Destination 5.
Aside from the bad guys, the Before-Batman crime drama stars Ben McKenzie as the early-career Jim Gordon, with support from Donal Logue, David Mazouz as the young Bruce Wayne, and Sean Pertwee as Alfred Pennyworth. Danny Cannon (CSI, Judge Dredd) directed the pilot.
Gotham currently airs in the US on the Fox channel on Monday nights. It arrives on the UK's Channel 5 on October 13.
