2015's Goosebumps (even if it waited until 2016 to reach UK shores) was a surprisingly fun, kid-friendly fright-fest. And from the looks of this first teaser trailer, there are more scares on the way in the sequel, Goosebumps 2: Haunted Halloween.

With no Jack Black on screen this time around (though he does voice Slappy the demonic doll), the new movie takes the anthology approach, once again channelling RL Stine's books for the story of a new group of kids who unwittingly bring Halloween to life in a way they might not want.

No, we don't mean Michael Myers stalking the streets – this is strictly spooks and ghouls, monsters and mayhem. The cast this time around includes Ken Jeong, Wendi Mclendon-Covey, Madison Iseman, Ben O'Brien and Caleel Harris, while Ari Sandel takes over directorial duties.
