While we've long known that Josh Brolin slipped into a performance capture suit to provide the basis and vocal tones for Infinity Stone-coveting baddie Thanos. But what of his dark minions, the Black Order? Avengers: Infinity War directors Joe and Anthony Russo have been parcelling out information as to who voices them, and now we know that Gone Girl and The Leftovers' Carrie Coon is lending her voice to Proxima Midnight.

In the comics, Proxima comes equipped with a spear that possesses the power of a time-distorted sun and is coated in an incredibly deadly toxin. So, you know, she's a threat. So far, we also know that Tom Vaughan-Lawlor has been in the voice booth for the telekinetic Ebony Maw, while Terry Notary, probably best known for his work coaching simian movement and behaviour (and playing Rocket, among others) in the Rise Of The Planet Of The Apes and its follow-ups is giving life to Cull Obsidian, though he's mostly a silent character.

Together, they'll present a nasty threat for Iron Man, Cap, Doctor Strange, Spidey and the rest. And we'll be able to see and hear their work when Infinity War finally arrives in cinemas on 26 April.
