It’s just over a month until the Golden Globes is set to bestow trophies on the best TV shows of the last 12 months – and the nominations have revealed which dramas, comedies, and limited series are in with a shot of winning. Leading the way is The Assassination Of Gianni Versace: American Crime Story with four nominations, with the final run of The Americans, Sharp Objects, The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel and Julia Roberts’ Homecoming providing stiff competition. BBC summer smash Bodyguard also gets two nods.
Notably, The Handmaid’s Tale – which last year won Best Drama – hasn't been nominated in that category for Season 2. Also snubbed are Netflix’s star-studded Maniac and acclaimed horror-drama The Haunting Of Hill House, with neither series receiving any nominations.
Take a look at the full list of TV nominations below – and see the list of film nominees here. The Golden Globes ceremony will take place on Monday 7 January 2019, with Sandra Oh and Andy Samberg presenting the awards.
