Like its titular creatures, the cast for Godzilla Vs. Kong just keeps growing. The latest recruits for the monster clash movie are Rebecca Hall and Baby Driver's Eiza Gonzalez.
Adam Wingard is marshalling the monster madness from the director's chair, with the plot details as of now limited to the giant beasts facing off, before realising that both of their mothers are named Mothra. Or something like that.
We do know that it'll carry forth plot lines from next year's Godzilla: King Of The Monsters, as characters played by Millie Bobby Brown, Kyle Chandler and Ziyi Zhang. Hall and Gonzalez (the latter's casting was announced by Deadline) are playing unknown characters, joining other newcomers to the franchise including Julian Dennison, Brian Tyree Henry, Alexander Skarsgård, a rumoured Danai Gurira and Demián Bichir.
Godzilla Vs. Kong will kick off shooting soon, with a 22 May, 2020 release date on the books. Godzilla: King Of The Monsters, directed by Mike Dougherty, will be out on 31 May next year.
