While snowy conditions meant that some nominees couldn't attend the 2017 British Independent Film Awards, the ceremony went ahead as planned, resulting in a big win for God's Own Country.
The film took home the main film award, Best Actor for Josh O'Connor, while writer/director Francis Lee nabbed Best Debut Screenwriter. There was also good news for Lady Macbeth, which won Best Screenplay for Alice Birch, Best Actress for Florence Pugh and Most Promising Newcomer for Naomie Ackie.
Elsewhere, The Death Of Stalin went home with four awards, including Best Supporting Actor, handed to Simon Russell Beale.
