Fargo Season 3

After a longer wait that we'd have liked, there's not too much time now until Fargo returns to our screens for a third season. We've seen a couple of trailers before, but here comes the full, proper look at the oddballs, criminals, cops and cranks that populate the new season.

This year, the story partly focuses on Emmit and Ray Stussy, both played by Ewan McGregor. Emmit is handsome, confident and has conquered the real estate market in Minnesota. Younger brother Ray, on the other hand, is a flabby parole officer who blames his sibling for his bad luck. So of course, when the opportunity arises, Ray tries to work a new scheme alongside Mary Elizabeth Winstead's Nikki, a crafty and alluring recent parolee.

Then there's Gloria Burgle (Carrie Coon), a canny local cop investigating a murder in Edna Valley. Newly divorced, she's trying to figure out life as much as she is the fresh crime.

The likes of David Thewlis, Michael Stuhlbarg, Scoot McNairy and Jim Gaffigan also show up and the first episode, The Law Of Vacant Places, will be on US screens on 19 April, and hits Channel 4 here shortly after that.
