After a couple of trailer teasers that managed to be more intriguing than irksome (even if the concept of ads for trailers still itches our brains a little), the full trailer for M. Night Shyamalan's follow-up to Split, and more crucially, Unbreakable, has now arrived. Check out the first footage from Glass.
The trailer finds Samuel L. Jackson's fragile, genius supervillain ("first name 'Mr', last name "Glass'"), plus the heroic David Dunn (Bruce Willis) and the multiple personalities inhabiting Kevin Wendell Crumb (James McAvoy) seemingly locked up in a mental health facility under the supervision of Dr. Ellie Staple (Sarah Paulson), who studies those whose delusion make them think they're superheroes.
It's apparently a rapidly growing field (a little like who those with powers have seemingly taken over blockbuster territory), it'll see the three characters (and Split's Casey Cooke, played by Anya Taylor-Joy) interact and, unfortunately for Doctor Staple in at least two of their cases, show that she might be a little bit incorrect in her theory about them.
Shyamalan's latest certainly looks like it'll deliver on the promise of merging the two movies, and has some real intensity about it just in the trailer. Glass will be in UK cinemas on 18 January next year.
