A load of thesps is catching the singing bug in the name of charidee. Rhino Records in the US has signed up an all-star grab-bag of names for its Unexpected Dreams: Songs From The Stars album, which will benefit the Los Angeles Philharmonic’s music education programmes.
Scarlett Johansson will be warbling the Gershwins’ Summertime, Ewan McGregor’s singing Sade’s The Sweetest Gift and Jennifer Garner’s performing Frank Loesser’s My Heart Is So Full Of You.
And that’s not all: there’s also the likes of Jeremy Irons (To Make You Feel My Love), John C Reilly (Lullaby In Ragtime) and Nia Vardalos (Golden Slumbers), to name but a few.
