Looking to grab a little of that 40-Year-Old Virgin-style love, Saturday Night Live’s Amy Poehler and Rachel Dratch are teaming up with Parker Posey for a Warner Brothers film about bored thirtysomethings going on Spring Break.
Spring Breakdown will be written and directed by Ryan Shiraki, who developed the script with Dratch. The plot sees three women deciding to throw off the boredom of their mundane lives by taking a holiday on an island resort popular with wild partying co-eds.
Shiraki will start filming the move next month in LA. Meanwhile, Poehler will next crop up in skating comedy Blades Of Glory, Dratch is appearing in Adam Sandler’s Click and Parker Posey has been wasting her time with a film that no one will bother seeing. Something about a Superman? Returning? Anyone?
