There was a universally watchable trailer, but now here's one of the red-band variety, for Get Him to the Greek: the re-teaming of Nicholas Stoller, Russell Brand and Jonah Hill. Click here for all the sweary goodness, but remember, only "mature" people can watch it. You guys are all mature, right?
Brand once again plays rock star Aldous Snow, although his Forgetting Sarah Marshall cohort Hill is actually playing a different character this time: the lowly record exec whose idea it is to stage a tenth anniversary gig at the site of Snow's greatest triumph, the Greek Theatre in LA. Trouble is, Snow is in London, they only have 72 hours to get from A to B, and there's lots of hard partying to be done en route.
So far so one-line-concept, but the devil is in the details, and there are enough sniggers in the trailer to make this look worth turning out for. Snow is obviously just an extension of Brand's usual persona, but who else is he going to play?
Writer / director Nicholas Stoller was behind** Forgetting Sarah Marshall**, and wrote Yes Man. Acting support for the main pair comes from Elizabeth Moss, Rose Byrne, Colm Meaney and Puff Daddy (sorry, "P Diddy"; sorry, "Sean Combs"). We're also promised cameos from Pink, Katy Perry, Christina Aguilera and Metallica's Lars Ulrich. The release date is June 25th.
