Superbad/Paul director Greg Mottola has been busy putting together the pieces for his latest comedy, Keeping Up With The Joneses**, since at least last March. With Jon Hamm, Zach Galifianakis and Isla Fisher all aboard, he wants to add Gal Gadot to the list.

Mottola's film, written by Michael LeSieur, finds a settled yet bored couple discovering that their new suburban neighbours might be more than they appear on first glimpse. Could they be criminals? Or spies? Or both? Or neither? Or something else entirely? Are we trapped asking questions at this point? Possibly?

Not much is known about the roles the various actors will play yet, though we’re guessing at Galifianakis and Fisher as the first couple, with Hamm and Gadot as the second. That, of course, assumes that Gadot’s talks work out – she’s got a busy schedule with her Wonder Woman duties and other films, so she needs to make sure there are no clashes. Mottola starts the cameras cranking on the comedy this April in Atlanta, while the Wonder Woman stand-alone film has just been scheduled to shoot in the autumn.

Gadot will appear as the Amazonian warrior in Batman V Superman: Dawn Of Justice, which is finally set to arrive here on March 25 next year. She’ll also be seen in Criminal and John Hillcoat’s Triple Nine, which is out on September 11.
