Gabriele Muccino, who had so much fun working with Will Smith on The Pursuit Of Happyness that he nearly agreed to work on Tonight, He Comes with the star before dropping out, has found his next film.
Focus Features has signed up the Italian director for A Little Game Without Consequence. Allan Loeb has adapted the French play, originally by Gerard Sibleyras, which focuses on a apparently perfect couple. When they end the relationship, they sudden realise that all their friends thought they were terrible as a twosome.
Consequence has already been filmed once, for a French movie in 2004. It’s not known when Muccino will kick off shooting his version, and no cast has been announced yet.
