Demi Moore's latest movie, the Ridley Scott-directed G.I. Jane, confounded critics over the weekend by entering at number one on the US box office chart. The military movie took $11.1 million, narrowly beating the Chris Tucker / Charlie Sheen comedy Money Talks, which debuted at number two. Air Force One held on to the number three position with a total gross of $143.1 million, and Men in Black slipped to the bottom of the ten, with overall takings of $230.5 million.
