The arrival of a new trailer for Season 4 of Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt brings with it a bittersweet feeling. For while we're glad to have Kimmy (Ellie Kemper) and the gang back in our lives, it also brings the knowledge that this will be the final run of episodes. Still, take a look...
This season finds Kimmy trying to do more in the world of work, with a job as the human resources person for a tech start-up. Titus (Tituss Burgess), meanwhile, is still ploughing through a patchy career in entertainment with Jacqueline (Jane Krakowski) as his agent. So you know how well that's going. Otherwise, the season will mostly be an excuse for the wacky trio and various others to make us laugh.
The first part of the final season – six episodes – will hit Netflix on 30 May. Part two follows at an unspecified date, while the producers and studio Universal TV have been talking to Netflix about a film to wrap the whole story up.
In related Netflix sitcom splitting news (apparently it's so the shows can qualify for this year's Emmy awards), Arrested Development's fifth season will be similarly sliced, with eight episodes dropping 29 May and a further eight later this year.
