Back in September, Disney used a TV special about the making of Frozen to announce that a short follow-up film – titled Frozen Fever – would arrive this coming spring. We now know that the short will be attached to the studio’s new live-action **Cinderella.

Frozen Fever, which is once again directed by Chris Buck and Jennifer Lee, will be set after the events of the first film and follows what happens when Anna's (Kristen Bell) birthday arrives. Elsa (Idina Menzel), Kristoff (Jonathan Groff) and Olaf (Josh Gad) are planning to give her the best celebration they can conjure up, but Elsa’s powers once again threaten both the party and the people around her.

Oscar-winning composers Robert Lopez and Kristen Anderson-Lopez are also back, providing a new original song.

Cinderella, meanwhile, is Kenneth Branagh’s new take on the classic fairy tale, with Lily James as the titular princess-to-be, Richard Madden as Prince Charming and Helena Bonham Carter as the Fairy Godmother. Both the short and the movie will arrive in UK cinemas on March 27. Check out the first trailer below.
