Apparently side-stepping (or working out) tricky licensing agreements, Disney has announced that the animated blockbuster Frozen II will arrive on Disney+ in the UK earlier than originally announced. Two weeks, earlier, in fact, on 3 July.
Presumably to take advantage of continuing lockdowns and stay-at-home orders, even as restrictions start to loosen, the film will arrive earlier than the original planned 17 July launch.
So now you'll be able to see Anna and Elsa's latest adventure a little earlier than thought, which will no doubt be good news for parents who need something to keep the kids occupied in the summer, especially if restrictions on certain venues remain.
In related news, the documentary series Into The Unknown: Making Frozen 2 is scheduled to start on the streaming service on 26 June.
