After a long wait, UK audiences can finally enjoy Disney’s new streaming service Disney+ – the digital home of the Mouse House’s extensive classic library, as well as the majority of the MCU, the complete Star Wars saga (The Rise Of Skywalker notwithstanding), 30 seasons of The Simpsons, and much more – but Frozen fans hoping to stream Frozen II to their heart’s content have a little longer to wait.
While the hit sequel launched early on Disney+ in countries like the US as the Coronavirus pandemic began to ramp up, Frozen II won’t be part of the Disney+ UK line-up until the summer – as confirmed on the service itself. A message on the film's page on the service states: “Due to existing agreements this title will be available on July 17, 2020.” Still, anyone itching for a rewatch of Anna and Elsa’s second adventure can access it by purchasing a digital copy – the film is out now on Digital HD on services like iTunes, Sky Store and Amazon Video, ahead of its Blu-ray and DVD release on 20 March.
At least there’s plenty of other stuff on Disney+ to keep you going for now – check out our list of 23 things to stream today here. Not signed up to Disney+ yet? Take a look here.
