As the release date for Disney’s new animated feature, the Marvel-flavoured Big Hero 6 creeps ever closer, we’re starting to see more and more from the movie. The trailer (which you can see at the bottom of the page) arrived a couple of weeks ago, and two more posters today join the first image.
The film itself introduces teenage robotics prodigy Hiro Hamada, who is intent on turning his bulky techno pal Baymax into a superhero. They’ll soon join up with a group of crime fighters to tackle a criminal gang, and future promos will showcase the likes of Fredzilla, a man able to turn himself into a Godzilla-style lizard, as well as Go Go Tomago, a young woman named Leiko Tanaka who uses a power suit to battle enemies.
It’s all set against the colourful, Asian-American mash-up futuristic city of San Fransokyo and promises to be full of action. Don Hall and Bolt’s Chris Williams are overseeing voice cast that includes Josh Hutcherson, Freddie Highmore, Samuel L. Jackson, T.J. Miller, Maya Rudolph and Jamie Chung. American audiences will see the film on November 7, but we have to wait until January 30, 2015. Booo!
