No, that is not a hyped-up tabloid headline screaming about a love connection between Charlie from The Chocolate Factory and Julia Roberts’ niece: the pair are starring in a romantic comedy-drama called Homework.
Directed and written by Gavin Wiesen, Homework is the story of a high school student with a bad attitude (Highmore) who befriends the girl he’s long had a crush on (Roberts).
And it’s loaded with other actors, including Alicia Silverstone, Blair Underwood, Rita Wilson, Elizabeth Reaser, Sam Robards and Michael Angarano.
The film is shooting right now in New York, though the producers left it later than usual to issue any sort of information about the movie – the production is scheduled to be finished this week, so this one will be out later in the year, assuming it finds a buyer.
