Four Weddings And A Funeral

You may recall that last year, the cast of Love Actually reunited for a short sequel to the movie in aid of Comic Relief on Red Nose Day. The man behind that effort, original writer/director (and CR co-founder) Richard Curtis is looking to pull the same trick with Four Weddings And A Funeral, setting up One Red Nose Day And A Wedding.

Curtis (who wrote Four Weddings) is gathering Hugh Grant, Andie MacDowell, Kristin Scott Thomas, John Hannah, Rowan Atkinson, James Fleet, David Haig, Sophie Thompson, David Bower, Robin McCaffrey, Anna Chancellor, Rupert Vansittart, Simon Kunz, Sara Crowe and Timothy Walker. We're also promised some big name guest stars for the sequel, premiering in Four Weddings' 25th anniversary year.

"We’re all definitely older – I suspect no wiser. It’s been really enjoyable working out what’s happened to all the characters – and now they get back together for the 5th wedding," says Curtis, "where, as usual, not everything will go as planned." The short is set for broadcast on Red Nose Day, 15 March next year in the UK, and will be part of the US Comic Relief day in May.

There's also an opportunity for two lucky UK residents (and a friend) to win a visit to the set. You'll enjoy a breakfast butty with the cast or end up with a walk-on part. Head to the charity link to enter and for rules. Get your entry in before the end of 9 December.
