Foster Takes To The Air

Jodie Foster has been cast in Disney's Flight Plan, following a two-year gap since she last appeared in cinemas in Panic Room. Once again, however, she plays a single mother whose daughter is in danger. Flight Plan is the story of a woman who decides to return home to America with her young daughter after the death of her husband. While in the air, however, her daughter mysteriously disappears, apparently into thin air. Foster is currently filming A Very Long Engagement, Jean-Pierre Jeunet's follow-up to the fabulous Amelie. It is the story of the crippled fianc of a World War I French soldier, who sets off in search of her man after he is marooned in no-man's land and apparently killed.
