These days he might be best known for Scrubs rewatch podcast Fake Doctors, Real Friends, but Zach Braff continues to work both in front of and behind the camera. And he's scored two solid talents for his next film, as Florence Pugh and Morgan Freeman will both star in A Good Person.
Braff also wrote the script, and the movie will follow Allison (Pugh), whose life falls apart following her involvement in a fatal accident. In the following years, it is the unlikely relationship she forms with her would-be father-in-law (Freeman) that helps her live a life worth living.
Freeman, of course, starred in Braff's last directorial effort, 2017's Going In Style. And while Pugh is much in demand (and making her debut in the MCU this year via Black Widow), the fact that she and Braff are living together might have facilitated an easy negotiation.
