First Trailer For Burn After Reading

Being almost annoyingly talented, the Coen brothers are never ones to repeat themselves. Having won several Oscars for the dark and dramatic No Country For Old Men they're following up with the much more comedic Burn After Reading, a new trailer for which you can see here (you'll need iTunes to play it).

The film sees Brad Pitt and Frances McDormand as two gym employees who find a CD left by a member of the CIA (John Malkovich), and decide to blackmail him.

Looks great to us. Brad Pitt's often at his most fun when he's in doofus mode (he's particularly good at being punched in the face), and is there really any way that a movie featuring the combined comedy powers of the Coens, Pitt, Clooney (who's always amazing in Coen movies, and we include Intolerable Cruelty), Frances McDormand, John Malkovich, Tilda Swinton and J.K. Simmons could be anything less that hilarious? Not without destroying everything we've ever believed in and probably the very fabric of the universe.
