If you've already clicked on the image below, or are particularly keen-eyed, you'll know that Clint Eastwood's cinematic adaptation of the award-winning Broadway (and West End) musical, Jersey Boys, is about Frankie Valli And The Four Seasons. It's the giant neon sign that gives it away.
First seen in the latest issue of **Empire - which you can download to your iPad / Google Play-friendly device, or just... buy in a shop - it's not the most jaw-dropping image ever released, but it's certainly picture proof that the man who "sang" in **Paint Your Wagon **is making a musical.
If you don't recognise any of the actors in the photo, that may be because you haven't seen the American run of the show yet, because the cast has primarily been recruited from among the established stage regulars. Meet, then, from left to right: John Lloyd Young, Erich Bergen, Vincent Piazza and Michael Lomenda. There's also Christopher Walken - not in shot - playing mob boss Gyp DeCarlo, but don't expect Hairspray stylings from everyone's favourite Weapon Of Choice{
With the Tony Award-winning show a big favourite in the **Empire **office, we have high hopes for this one. For more details, check out our First Look feature in the latest issue. Jersey Boys is aiming for a June 20 release in the USA, with no details on when it's out in the UK just yet.
