Wes Anderson’s latest quirky cinematic offering, The Grand Budapest Hotel, is due to hit our screens next year. A trailer is set to arrive on Thursday, but for now check out the first poster for the film below courtesy of the IMDB.

The image makes it clear that the hotel in question certainly lives up to the title and definitely fits into the Anderson design aesthetic.

As for the plot, that flits between the 1930s and other eras to tell several stories, but revolves around a legendary concierge (Ralph Fiennes) who takes a young employee (Saoirse Ronan) under his wing to show her the ropes.

Anderson, coming off of the triumph of Moonrise Kingdom, has assembled another typically eclectic cast with returning veterans Bill Murray, Jason Schwartzman joined by the likes of Fiennes, Ronan, Jude Law, F. Murray Abraham, Edward Norton, Mathieu Amalric, Adrien Brody, Willem Dafoe, Lea Seydoux, Jeff Goldblum, Tilda Swinton, Harvey Keitel and Tom Wilkinson. Written, for once, by the director alone, **The Grand Budapest Hotel **has no exact release date yet, but should be arriving in 2014.

To hear Saoirse Ronan talk about working on it, check out the podcast interview below.
