Just a few days ago we saw the first look at Henry Cavill as Clark Kent in Batman V Superman: Dawn Of Justice. Now here is the first look at Cavill as Superman in the film, courtesy of USA Today, in a look that's pretty similar to his Man Of Steel suit, but quite a lot wetter.
This image of course joins the first look at Ben Affleck's Batman in his Batsuit, with his Batmobile, back in May. Both images point to a dark-tinged outing for the heroes, with both looking sombre. And doesn't the background in this picture look rather Gotham-like? It strongly suggests that Supes is in the Dark Knight's back yard.
Snyder also spoke to the paper about his film, emphasising that that title's "V" is a way "to keep it from being a straight 'versus' movie, even in the most subtle way." He also stated his relish for an older, established take on Batman because, "it's cooler to see a crusty old Batman beating the snot out of guys."
The film of course also features Gal Gadot as Wonder Woman, Jason Momoa as Aquaman, Ray Fisher as Cyborg, Jesse Eisenberg as Lex Luthor, Amy Adams as Lois Lane, Jeremy Irons as Alfred Pennyworth, Laurence Fishburne as Perry White and Diane Lane as Martha Kent. Director Zack Snyder will also be finding screentime for Callan Mulvey, Scoot McNairy, Holly Hunter and Tao Okamoto.
Batman V. Superman: Dawn Of Justice will hit screens on April 29, 2016 on current plans. Lok forward to nearly two more years of tantalising images, posters and trailers.{Superman Batman Batmobile tease}
