There's a "Destroy one lot of stuff, destroy another lot free" offer on at Michael Bay's place this year. Not content with laying waste to large swathes of the planet with Transformers: Age Of Extinction, he's donned his producer hat - and we're pretty sure he actually has a producer hat - to oversee some New York-based carnage with the freshly reshelled Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. Here, debuting on Twitter, is the villain of the piece: turtle nemesis Shredder, coming off like the product of a torrid one-night stand between the Witch-king of Angmar and a garden centre.

Shredder, of course, is the big bad threatening a citiscape protected with vigilante determination by the four Ninja Turtles and their crusading journalist pal April O’Neil (Megan Fox). He's the nasty alter ego of William Fichtner's shady business executive and clearly created in keeping with the character's samurai origins. Expect big action beats, odd-quintet chemistry and some pizza-munching. The movie's cast - some of it voice-only - also includes Will Arnett, Whoopi Goldberg, Alan Ritchson, Noel Fisher, Johnny Knoxville, Tony Shalhoub, Abby Elliott, Jeremy Howard and K. Todd Freeman, with Wrath Of The Titans' Jonathan Liebesman calling the shots.
