Even as he prepares to wreck the world's weather with this year's action thriller Geostorm, Dean Devlin has another cine-experience awaiting release. He's been working on crime pic Bad Samaritan, and the first images of stars David Tennant and Robert Sheehan are now online and can be found lurking on this page.
The basic setup for this one finds Sheehan as one of two young car valets who have hit upon a clever criminal scheme: while the guests at the venue they cover are otherwise occupied, they rob their homes.
All seems to be going well until the thieves decide to hit the wrong house – belonging, we can now officially deduce from the images – to Tennant's Cale Erendreich, who is none too happy at the thought of his belongings being pinched. Things, from the looks of this then unravel in a similar fashion to Don't Breathe, with the experience going badly for all involved.
Devlin is editing the film now, working off a script by Brandon Boyce, and the cast also includes Kerry Condon, Jacqueline Byers, Carlito Olivero and Lisa Brenner. The movie hasn't yet set a release date, but the rights are on sale now at the Cannes Film Market. Geostorm, meanwhile, surges in on 20 October.
