Ready to hit the slopes? Admittedly, it might be a while before many skiing fans can head to the snowy peaks (though some places are already open), yet Lady Gaga and Adam Driver look prepared to go off-piste in a '90s-tastic first look at Ridley Scott's House Of Gucci.
Roberto Bentivegna adapted Sara Gay Forden’s book The House Of Gucci: A Sensational Story Of Murder, Madness, Glamour And Greed, and Scott is already hard at work on the movie. It takes place around the 1995 murder of Maurizio Gucci (Driver), the grandson of founder Guccio Gucci, who ran the famed fashion house in the 1980s. Gaga is starring as Maurizio’s ex-wife Patrizia Reggiani, who was caught up in his murder. Reggiani was tried and convicted of orchestrating her ex-husband’s assassination on the steps of his office in Italy in 1995. She gained the nickname the Black Widow during the trial and served 18 years before being released from prison in 2016.
Scott has loaded up his cast with the likes of Jeremy Irons, Jared Leto, Al Pacino, Jack Huston and Reeve Carney, and is aiming to have it ready for cinemas on 24 November.
