As it continues its attempts to compete with the library-heavy likes of Disney+ and Netflix, Apple TV+ is sticking with its policy of nabbing big names to create or star in its shows. And it has now unveiled the first look at Julianne Moore, Clive Owen, Ron Cephas Jones and some of the other cast for Stephen King adaptation Lisey's Story.
King himself wrote the script for every episode of the new series, which has Jackie director Pablo Larrain calling the shots. The story follows Lisey Landon (Moore) two years after the death of her husband, famous novelist Scott Landon (Owen). A series of unsettling events causes Lisey to face memories of her marriage to Scott that she has deliberately blocked out of her mind...
