Mid last year, it was announced that Will Forte would bring his **Saturday Night Live **character MacGruber to the big screen for an all-action comedy romp. Some feared it would never work. We, however, were excited - and now, thanks to the team at Cinema Blend, there is pictorial proof that makes us giggle like eager children.
The be-mulleted action hero - essentially a loving rip on '80s icon MacGyver - will expand on his usual misadventures (the show's skits always see him trapped in a room with a bomb, which explodes).
Following the murder of his fiancee, the special ops expert has spent the last 10 years ignoring the call to action. But then his country tasks him with finding a stolen nuclear warhead.
He's aided by an elite team of experts, including regular sidekick Vicki St Elmo (Kristen Wiig) and newcomer Lt Dixon Piper (Ryan Phillippe). But will they be enough to help him defeat the assassins looking to put him out of action permanently?
Of course, what we really want now is a good look at the film's Cunth. That would be Dieter Von Cunth - the arms dealer villain and MacGruber's sworn enemy, who just happens to be played by Val Kilmer...
