It's ages since we heard anything about the project, and Warners doesn't currently have a release date for it, but proof that John Cusack's serial-killer thriller **The Factory is still happening comes in this set of stills procured by Bloody Disgusting.
The Factory stars Cusack as a grizzled cop on the trail of a hooker-targeting killer, forced to "drop all restraint" when his daughter mistakenly becomes a target.
There's not a great deal to be learned from the pics, if we're honest. The Cusack-as-rugged-cop angle is represented by his roughing up a man in a beanie hat (or perhaps he's singing him a song). The missing-persons angle is here, in the form of Cusack holding up a flyer with "Missing" on it. And there's a lot of snow: talking in the snow, running in the snow and an ambulance in the snow. This leads us to suspect that Cusack will question people, chase people, and hurt people. In the snow.
Relative newcomer Morgan O'Neill is the director, and the film, when it leaves the shelf, comes to us via action-man Joel Silver and his Dark Castle production company.
What's Cusack up to? 1408? 2012? Hot Tub Time Machine? This? What happened to the Being John Malkoviches and the High Fidelitys?
