First Glimpse Of Ritchie’s Revolver

After Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels and Snatch (and despite the-one-we-don't-talk-about-starring-his-missus) Guy Richie is one of the most interesting directors around. So a new film of his is always worth talking about, and Revolver more than most, promising as it does a storming return to form for our favourite mockney helmer. Now the new teaser for the film has hit online, exclusively at The Sun. The film, which Richie took more than a year and a half to write (and then changed completely a week before shooting) follows his usual motley collection of losers, hard men and has-beens, as a hotshot gambler (Jason Statham) has a hit taken out on him when he beats a mob boss at cards. With a quality cast including consummate wiseguy Ray Liotta, Richie-regular Statham and rapper-of-the-moment Andre 3000 / Benjamin, this may be less funny than Richie's early films, but every bit as packed with dodgy geezers, this is one to watch for later this year.
