First Five Minutes Of Source Code Online

The opening of Source Code, freshly (and surprisingly) released online, is a reminder that train travel isn't all sleek dining cars and romantic chit-chat with Julie Delpy. Sometimes thing go badly wrong. Luckily, in the technically advanced world in which Duncan Jones' sci-fi takes place there's science to help. Secret military science. Secret military time-travel science.

Jake Gyllenhaal's soldier, Colter Stevens, wakes to discover that he's assumed the identity of commuter Sean Fentress. The train he's on is rigged to explode, and, in the last few minutes of Fentress' life, he's charged with getting as much intel on the terrorists as possible back to HQ. The sparks that fly almost immediately with fellow passenger Michelle Monaghan complicates things even further.

If there's a theme emerging from Jones' movies to date it's men trying to take second chances. Jake Gyllenhaal's Captain Stevens is going to need plenty of them to track down the people responsible for the catastrophe in less than ten minutes. Even Miss Marple would struggle to work under those conditions.

Needless to say, things gets spoilerific almost immediately, so if you'd rather stay fresh stick to the trailer.
