It's time for the moral crusaders to start sharpening their knives and alerting the Daily Mail, because the first clip from Lars Von Trier's **Nymphomaniac **is online and it's probably going to offend people. Not because it's not safe for work - there's no nudity here - but because it sees two young girls treat sex as sport while using public transport. Horror!
Here we see young Joe (Stacy Martin) and her more experienced friend B (Sophie Kennedy Clark) make a bet to see who can sleep with more men on a long train journey. There's a whole bag of chocolate to be won, so the stakes are high.
The film concentrates on the adult Joe, now played by Charlotte Gainsbourg, a self-diagnosed nymphomaniac who relates her life story to Stellan Skarsgard's Seligman after he saves her from a beating.
The film also stars Christian Slater, Shia LaBeouf, Jamie Bell, Uma Thurman, Willem Dafoe, Connie Nielsen, Jean-Marc Barr and Udo Kier. It's due in two parts, and two versions (hardcore and softcore, apparently) and we can expect to see it sometime this winter.
