Finding Amusement

A new horror thriller

New Line International and Picturehouse have found a little Amusement. But far from the fun title, the companies have actually grabbed rights to a new horror suspense.

From the pen of When A Stranger Calls and The Hitcher remake scribe Jake Wade Wall and featuring the megaphone skills of Freeze Frame’s John Simpson, the movie will chronicle three different women and how they deal with their fears. There’s not much more in the way of plot details, but we do know that Simpson will crank his cameras later this year.

"Amusement shows the diversity of product that will be released under the Picturehouse banner," Picturehouse president Bob Berney blabbed to The Hollywood Reporter. "John Simpson brings a visceral cinematic style to a classic horror script from Jake Wall." At least, he hopes he will.
