We are just a couple of months away from musical sequel Mamma Mia! Here We Go Again opening in cinemas, and so the self-described final trailer is here.
This follow up to the 2008 hit, written and directed by Ol Parker, has Amanda Seyfried's Sophie discovering that she's pregnant. The news causes her to want to explore her mother's past, and so we also get flashbacks to a young Donna (Lily James subs in for Meryl Streep) meeting the younger versions of Stellan Skarsgård's Bill, Colin Firth's Harry and Pierce Brosnan's Sam (their 1979 incarnations are played by Josh Dylan, Hugh Skinner and Jeremy Irvine).
Fans of the original should expect more ABBA, more warbling and dancing, though it does seem to point to a dark fate for Meryl Streep's Donna. Did anyone check to see if Thanos came to Skopelos?
Mamma Mia! Here We Go Again dances into cinemas on 20 July.
