Ferris Bueller Actor ‘Sex Offender’

Character actor Jeffrey Jones - you remember him, he was the chap who played Ferris Buellar's school principal - has been put on the sex offenders register for life in America after hiring a 14-year old school boy to pose for sexually explicit photos. The 56 year old actor was also sentenced to five years probation over the incident (he also had a charge of possessing child pornography dismissed as part of a plea-bargain), but in an amazing example of Hollywood's trend towards optimism was quoted by his lawyer as hoping that 'he can go on with his life and his career'. We can just see Disney snapping him up....
