Though we can expect to see several new trailers for big movies this coming Super Bowl Sunday, there are always a few that want to get ahead of the game (literally). The first trailer for Fast & Furious 9 drives in on Friday, and a tease is already online, featuring Vin Diesel and Michelle Rodriguez.
As Dom explains, he no can no longer live his life a quarter mile at a time because of his family obligations. And indeed, we first meet him working on a tractor with his kiddo, Brian, taking things easy. There's also a scene of him tucking his spawn into bed alongside wife Letty (Rodriguez), who gifts the kid with the cross that Dom gave her, ominously saying it's protection "for what's coming".
Also released? The first poster for the movie, which (in the States at least) appears to be titled F9: The Fast Saga. And features Dom clearly having forgotten how to drive a car. Silly goose – you don't sit on the hood, or you can't reach the pedals.
The likes of John Cena and Michael Rooker are the new recruits for this one, alongside returning faces Tyrese Gibson, Ludacris, Helen Mirren and Charlize Theron. As we mention above, the trailer's due Friday, with the film heading our way on 22 May, with Justin Lin at the helm.
